Mr. Benno Pieters is the ad-interim Commercial Director of Virtual Proteins BV.
He is an entrepreneur, has 24 years of Sales, Marketing and General Management
Experience in the B-B IT industry (Compuware, EDS Unigraphics,Intergraph). Today
he is also Co-Founder/owner of TC-One BV, Amsterdam, The Netherlands (Commercial

CTO, Ir. Gino van den Bergen PhD 1969
Mr. Gino van den Bergen is the Chief Technology Officer of Virtual Proteins BV. He is an expert in collision detection and physics. He
holds a Ph.D. in computing science from Eindhoven University of Technology. He is
the author of the book Collision Detection in Interactive 3D Environments, and also
published an article about "Point-Based Visualization of Metaballs on a GPU
" in GPU GEMS 3. He developed the SOLID collision detection library
that has been applied successfully in top-selling game console titles and 3D CAM applications.
He has been senior software engineer at Blender and PlayLogic.
At Virtual Proteins BV he is responsible for the development of software for interactive visualization and simulation of complex molecules within the VP MicroLab ®.

CSO, Ir. Trudi Sonderkamp MSc 1964
Mrs. Trudi Sonderkamp is Chief Science Officer of Virtual Proteins BV.
She is a chemical engineer, with a background in scientific research, industrial
process optimization and development of medical devices. Life Sciences have
always had her greatest interest. She has personally struggled with the problems
occurring in molecular modeling with proteins. It is a challenge to work on the
development of a highly innovative tool to improve drug design. |
