Virtual Proteins MicroLab Xtreme

Virtual Proteins Xtreme MicroLab will become an extremely powerful version of the Basic MicroLab, which can be used in a GRID environment. Basically, the Virtual Proteins Extreme MicroLab will be a low-cost version of the CAVE. Whereas the Basic MicroLab will enable researchers to work with stereo 3D and 4D models at their desktop working space, the Xtreme MicroLab will enable researchers to work with extremely large models and multiple users. The Xtreme MicroLab will enable various researchers to work simultaneously on such models in a setting, which will resemble a CAVE facility. The Xtreme MicroLab will include the virtual reality hardware necessary (such as stereo projectors) to work with these large models. The Xtreme MicroLab can be connected to Basic MicroLabs in a network environment in order to enhance the research possibilities offered by the MicroLabs. The Xtreme MicroLab will be released approximately a year after the commercial release of the Virtual Proteins MicroLab Basic.
